West Virginia missed plenty of opportunities to score, which dampened the mood of a strong defense performance. West Virginia only allowed two shots and didn’t let any score up. West Virginia outperformed Georgia Southern, however not being able to sink a shot, especially in the second half, forced the scoreless draw to happen.
West Virginia falls to 6-0-2 on the season and will head down to North Carolina to play UNC Greensboro.
