On his weekly radio show, West Virginia head coach Neal Brown gave and update on quarterback Garrett Greene’s ankle injury.
“Garrett’s been rehabbing all week. He practiced a little bit on Wednesday, a little bit on Thursday. It will be a game-time decision,” Brown said.
Earlier this week Brown made a point to emphasize that Greene will not play unless he is fully himself and use his athleticism to his advantage. If Greene can’t go, backup quarterback Nicco Marchiol — who played all but one full series against Pitt — will play.
“Nicco’s got the majority of the reps, but we’ll make a game-time decision on Saturday,” Brown said.
