West Virginia (5-0-1) hosts Dayton (2-4-1) in their first match back home since September 9th.
West Virginia comes into this match scorching hot as they’re fresh off a tie with No. 5 UCF. The Mountaineers are still undefeated and currently sit at No. 2 in the latest NCAA men’s soccer rankings, only behind fellow West Virginia team Marshall.
Marcus Caldeira once again leads the charge for the Mountaineers, as he boasts seven goals through the first six matches of the season. His seven goals tied for the NCAA lead.
For Dayton, Joseph Melto Quiah leads the stat sheet heading into Tuesday’s match. The sophomore out of Liberia has posted an impressive three goals and two assists, while only playing in four matches this year. Graduate student Hjalti Sigurdsson has also scored three goals and one assist. Dayton recently snapped a three-match skid with a 6-0 win over Rhode Island.
The match will start at 7 p.m. and can be streamed live on ESPN+.
