West Virginia University women’s soccer (2-4-2) will be in Orlando tomorrow evening to play UCF (4-2) at the UCF Soccer and Track Complex at 6 p.m.
WVU is looking to get their first road win of the season Thursday night after a 0-0 tie at home against Villanova.
The Mountaineers are coming off a loss where they had eight total corner kicks and outshot the Wildcats 8-2.
Coming into conference play, head coach Nikki-Izzo Brown said her biggest emphasis was, “You just gotta eliminate mental errors, you know, if it’s in front of the goal, defensively, or offensively, we gotta finish our chances.”
UCF is coming into this game fresh off a 2-0 win against South Flordia and is coming into a third straight home game against the Mountaineers.
The Knights had a second-half surge against the Bulls with Chole Netzel scoring in the 71st minute and Ellie Moreno scoring in the 73rd.
UCF will be having a Big 12 Blackout against the Mountaineers. The match will be streamed on ESPN+ at 6 p.m.
