Former Mountaineer John Means to make first start back after Tommy John surgery

Former Mountaineer John Means is back with the Baltimore Orioles.

Having not pitched since Apr. 13, 2022, Means will take the mound for the first time since then on Tuesday. Means had been recovering from Tommy John surgery, dealing with multiple setbacks during his recovery.

The Orioles are currently in first place in the American League East, and a strong showing the rest of the month from Means could put him in line to be on the playoff roster for the Orioles.
