West Virginia welcomed Villanova to Morgantown as they capped off their final nonconference matchup before conference play begins.
Through the first half both teams had multiple opportunities to score within range, but neither team capitalized. Both teams went back and forth trading shots, but none landed.
In the second half, Villanova had four corner kicks, matched by West Virginia’s three, but nonetheless, neither team scored. This marks the second consecutive tie for West Virginia, as they tied Auburn 1-1 last Thursday night.
West Virginia (2-4-2) will head down to Orlando to face UCF (0-0-0) in their first Big 12 action of the season on Thursday. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and will start at 6 p.m.
