After not having any members last week, West Virginia had three members of the PFF 90 Club for this week in Fatorma Mulbah, Taurus Simmons, and Garrett Greene. Mulbah had a 95.5 grade in pass rush.

Wyatt Milum was not only the highest graded offensive lineman but the highest graded offensive player for pass blocking and run blocking at 85.3 and 80.8 respectively.

With WR Devin Carter sitting out due to injury, Hudson Clement saw significant action for the first time and made the most of it. He had five catches for 177 yards and three touchdowns and graded out at 84.2 in the passing game.

Nicco Marchiol saw action at quarterback in this game as well and put on a solid performance. He graded in the 70’s in overall grade, passing grade, and running grade.

Rodney Gallagher also saw significant action at wide receiver but graded out below average. He had one catch for 12 yards and graded out at 47.7 in the passing game.

The West Virginia defense, according to PFF’s data, had 16 pressures, five sacks, five quarterback hits, and six quarterback hurries. Trey Lathan led the way with three pressures and Tomiwa Durojaiye led the way with two sacks.

The grades were overall a lot better than last week. Playing an FCS opponent benefitted the players and a total of 71 players saw at least one snap on either side of the ball.
