The WVU men’s soccer team has made their first appearance in the rankings this year, coming in at No. 16 in the newly released United Soccer Coaches Poll.
The Mountaineers are 4-0-0 on the season with wins against California Baptist, Bucknell, Yale, and American.
Sophomore Marcus Caldeira has been leading the charge for WVU, scoring five goals in four games.
WVU has also been stellar on defense this season, allowing just one goal in their four games. The Mountaineers’ next matchup is against No. 3 ranked Portland on Saturday in Morgantown with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m. at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
