Former Mountaineer Pat McAfee ripped head coach Neal Brown and West Virginia football on his daily The Pat McAfee Show.
McAfee, who is arguably WVU sports’ most notable and famed alumni, went in on his thoughts of the current stat of the Mountaineers.
“It should not just be such a miracle to think that we would beat Penn State six years into a guys tenure,” McAfee said. Six years in this is all your people, this is all your culture, this is all your thing… you’re in charge of winning games and building and instead it’s, the MAC school is going to play Penn State.”
“I think that was my big realization while I was watching the game, realizing we weren’t going to be able to win that. It’s like, we should be able to. We should have at least some sort of thought that we should win this.”
