Will Grier knew he was getting released and he had one more chance to prove his worth to teams around the NFL.
He took full advantage of that final opportunity, passing for 305 yards and two touchdowns, while adding two scores and 53 yards on the ground.
Grier knew he was going to play every offensive snap, after it was announced he was going to get released from the Cowboys as they traded for quarterback Trey Lance to be the backup.
Grier had been with the Cowboys since 2021, and he now hopes to land on another roster.
