On Friday, the Dallas Cowboys traded for quarterback Trey Lance. This means former Mountaineer Will Grier is getting cut.
According to a report, the Cowboys informed Grier of the decision, as Grier has been the backup quarterback in Dallas over the past few years.
The report also said though that the Cowboys vs Raiders game on Saturday night will feature Grier and give him one more game to put on film to try and land on another team. Grier is expected to play the every down for the Cowboys.
