West Virginia football released their updated jersey design of the Country Roads Uniform, featuring gold jerseys as the main color.
After teasing the release of the uniform earlier today, they put out on social media the official look of the jerseys.
The jersey base is gold with blue lettering of ‘Mountaineers’ across the top. In the number patterns appears to again be the similar design of the maps of highways in the state of West Virginia. The first version of the uniform was a white base with the words ‘West Virginia’ across the top. There is still the state outline with the flying WV in the middle on the collar.
On the inside of the back collar it reads, ‘Cue Country Roads.’
The full uniform including a possible helmet and pants design has yet to be released.
