The wait is over. After speculation and hype on Wednesday, WVU’s Country Roads Uniforms had their jersey revealed on Wednesday.
The jersey is gold with the lettering Mountaineers and with blue sleeves. The pattern is similar to the white variation released last year, which WVU wore against Pitt and Texas Tech.
This uniform will be worn when WVU hosts Pitt on Sept. 16. This is the first time the Backyard Brawl will be played in Morgantown since 2011.
It was also announced fans can purchase the jersey which goes on sale on Thursday at 9 a.m.
