WVU transfer portal class ranked as best in the country

West Virginia basketball’s transfer portal calls is ranked tops in the country according to On3Sports.

WVU, who in the last week has added Akok Akok and Noah Farrakhan from the transfer portal, has added eight transfers this offseason.

WVU also lost to the portal, including Tre Mitchell and Joe Toussaint, but the additions have outweighed the subtractions.

The Mountaineers added Akok Akok, RaeQuan Battle, Jeremiah Bembry, Jesse Edwards, Noah Farrakhan, Kerr Kriisa, Jose Perez and Quinn Slazinski.

WVU lost Jimmy Bell, Josiah Davis, Jamel King, Tre Mitchell, James Okonkwo, Joe Toussaint, and Mohamed Wague.

The Mountaineers rank ahead of other Big 12 teams Kansas State (16), Texas (21), and Iowa State (29) in the top-30 by On3Sports.
