2025 Top-50 recruit schedules visit to WVU

Despite the future being in limbo with the interim title on current head coach Josh Eilert, West Virginia is still actively recruiting high school talent.

Joe Tipton of On3Sports reports that the four-star prospect in Green will visit WVU this fall along with Auburn, TCU, and Texas A&M.

Green, who is from Texas, is rated by On3 as a top-50 recruit, and just outside of the top-50 by 247Sports. A 6-foot-3 guard, Green’s official visit to WVU will take place on Oct. 21.

West Virginia recently has not targeted high school prospects as heavily, but instead turned their attention to the transfer portal. WVU has one true freshman this year on their roster and it is international signee Ofri Naveh. In 2022, WVU only had two true freshman in Josiah Davis and Josiah Harris.
