In just under three weeks, West Virginia will travel to face Penn State to open the college football season.
Over the weekend, former Mountaineer Pat McAfee took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to voice who he thought would win the game.
McAfee tagged A.Q. Shipley, a regular guest on his show, The Pat McAfee Show, as well as a Penn State alumni. McAfee said, “What you going to do when WVU runs over Penn State in Happy Valley Week 1?”
ESPN commentator Kirk Herbstreit, who is a host on ESPN’s College Gameday with McAfee responded to the tweet with laughing emojis.
