West Virginia men’s basketball continues to be busy on the recruiting trail despite having the interim title on current head coach Josh Eilert.
The Mountaineers offered 2025 guard Kiyan Anthony as well as 2024 guard Evan van der Plas.
Anthony, is the son of former NBA star Carmelo Anthony. From New York, Anthony attends Long Island Lutheran, and is a four-star recruit. Anthony is 6-foot-4, 186 pounds, and he has multiple high level power five offers.
The Mountaineers on Wednesday of this week offered van der Plas who is from The Netherlands, just like current WVU forward Jesse Edwards. Listed at 6-foot-5, he recently played for Triple ThreaT Basketball. In a game against United Academy earlier this year, van der Plas scored 27 points, while adding six steals, five rebounds, and four assists.
