According to to Eurohopes, West Virginia men’s basketball is adding Ofri Naveh from Israel.

Naveh is 6-foot-7, and can score but also has size to go along with it. He has played for a U18 international team as well as a U18 team in Europe. With the U18 Israel team, Naveh has averaged 10.8 points, and 6.0 rebounds per game over his last five games with the U18 Israel international team.

For West Virginia they are hoping Naveh’s ability to score can translate to the Division I level to go along with his size. Naveh is in the class of 2023.

West Virginia has had to go the international route as the transfer portal has been closed, but they need to fill out their roster ahead of this upcoming season.
