West Virginia baseball continues to add from the transfer portal, this time adding Tyler Switalski from Gardner-Webb.
Switalski, a native of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, has been at Gardner-Webb each of the last two seasons. Switalski is 6-foot-4, 215-pounds and throws from the left side.
He has been a starter each of the past two seasons, compiling 30 starts in 31 appearances, with a 4.90 ERA, and 128 strikeouts in 152.1 innings pitched. Through his first nine starts this season, Gardner-Webb was 8-1 when Switalski took the mound, and he had an ERA of 3.42.
