West Virginia adds Florida State transfer

West Virginia men’s basketball added Jeremiah Bembry as he committed to the Mountaineers on Sunday.

Jeff Goodman of Stadium first reported the news of the 6-foot-6 guard committing to Josh Eilert and West Virginia.

Bembry did not play for the Seminoles this past season, but will add backcourt depth for the Mountaineers. West Virginia only has one point guard on their roster currently in Kerr Kriisa, and the Mountaineers are searching for answers from the transfer portal as five players form last years team have entered the portal since Bob Huggins submitted his resignation last month.

Bembry was in the class of 2022 and chose Florida State over LSU, Seton Hall, Rutgers, among other schools.
