It seems all but sure that Mohamed Wague will not be returning to the Mountaineers next season.
Wague entered the transfer portal and had the option to return to West Viringia. But after a social media post made on Tuesday, it appears he will not be returning.
“Nothing but love I will always remember my time up here in Morgantown,” Wague said in a note. “Coaching staff, teammates, and the people in general, thank you.”
Wague and James Okonkwo are the only two Mountaineers who remain in the portal. Joe Toussaint transferred to Texas Tech on Tuesday, and Tre Mitchell transferred to Kentucky.
