West Virginia added legacy defensive end Makai Byerson.
Byerson, a three-star prospect is from Midlothia, Virginia, and attended Manchester High School. Byerson is 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, and his father played basketball at West Virginia.
Byerson chose WVU over Virginia Tech, Kentucky, and Rutgers, after he took a visit to WVU in early June. Byerson is the third defensive end in the 2024. class.
