Former Mountaineer Jevon Carter is signing a three-year deal worth $20 million with the Chicago Bulls.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski announced the move on Twitter Friday.
Carter, spent four seasons at West Virginia. Known for his toughness on defense and ability to harass opposing ball handlers. Carter spent parts of the last two seasons in Milwaukee, averaging 7.6 points per game, in 101 games played. Carter shot 43 percent from both the field and from beyond the arc.
Carter is returning home as he joins the Bulls. Carter is from Maywood, Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago. This will be Carter’s fifth team since coming into the league in the 2018-2019 season.
