Former Mountaineer Jevon Carter has opted to decline his $2.24 million player option with the Milwaukee Bucks for the 2023-24 season according to Micahel Scotto.
Carter had his best year to date this season, appearing in 81 of the team’s 82 games, averaging 8.0 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in 22.3 minutes per game. To go with Carter’s strong defense he also shot 42% from 3.
Carter set a career high for himself this season too, scoring 36 points on November 9 while also having 12 assists to go along with it.
Carter will be entering his sixth season in the NBA this fall.
