WVU Baseball adds Baylor graduate transfer

Baylor graduate transfer Hambleton Oliver has announced his commitment to WVU.

Oliver, a fifth-year senior from Corpus Christi, Texas, is a right-handed relief pitcher standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 225 pounds.

Oliver spent the last four seasons at Baylor University, posting the best numbers of his career last season with 37 strikeouts and five saves in 39.2 innings pitched. He had a record of 2-4 with an ERA of 4.31 to go along with that.

Oliver looks to help replenish the bullpen following the departure of Noah Short and possible departure of Carlson Reed as he is eligible for the MLB Draft.
