Just one day after new interim head coach Josh Eilert was introduced, West Virginia men’s basketball roster for the 2023-2024 roster continues to be in flux.
The Mountaineers enter Tuesday with a total of nine players on the roster, three in the transfer portal, and one having left and transferred to another school.

As of now, there are nine players on West Virginia who are still on the roster and not in the portal.
G- Seth Wilson, Kobe Johnson, Jose Perez, Omar Silverio, Kerr Kriisa, RaeQuan Battle
F- Jesse Edwards, Josiah Harris, Patrick Suemnick
In Portal
The front court for West Virginia took a huge hit in the portal on Tuesday with both James Okonkwo and Mohamed Wague entering the portal. Joe Toussaint is also in the portal, and is visiting Kansas State and Texas Tech this week, while still keeping his option to return to WVU open.
Transferred Out
Tre Mitchell committed to play for Kentucky on Monday. This is the first player to land at another school since Bob Huggins’ resignation.
