West Virginia men’s basketball is continuing to hit the transfer portal this offseason.
The Mountaineers have had a lot of success and according to Adam Zagoria, the Mountaineers have contacted Paul Mulcahy as he recently entered the portal.
Mulcahy — a 6-foot-7 guard — entered the portal as a graduate transfer. Mulcahy is a pass-first type of guard who averaged 8.3 points per game, and 4.9 assists per game this past season while shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc.
Zagoria reported West Virginia along with Michigan, Kentucky, and Kansas State have all reached out to Mulcahy. West Virginia has Kerr Kriisa and Joe Toussaint on their roster as point guards for next season.
