4-star linebacker appreciates the family aspect of his visit to WVU

Linebacker Cameron Lindsey visited West Virginia over the weekend and he was impressed with the way the staff valued his family as well as what WVU has to offer as a whole

Lindsey is a 4 star prospect according to Rivals Sports. Lindsey attends Alquippa High School in Pennsylvania. Listed at 6-foot-2, 193 pounds, Lindsey, a two time first team All-conference and All-state linebacker, racked up 100 tackles, one sack, three forced fumbles, and two recoveries in his junior season.

“The visit went great,” said Lindsey. “My favorite part was their academics or getting on a boat for the first time.”

Lindsey said the staff made him feel wanted here.

“The staff is great, they show genuine love to me and my family which is great, makes me feel wanted there. Also the facilities are great, everything is set for the football players to be around there all day.”

Lindsey feels that his size can give him a chance to play, saying “Just from being an athlete at the size I am now I can benefit from playing inside or outside linebacker which gives me a chance to get out there and play.”

Lindsey currently holds offers from schools such as Penn State, Pitt, Cincinnati, Maryland, Syracuse, Duke, Coastal Carolina, and many others.
