West Virginia transfer portal target decision coming soon

West Virginia has been targeting Tennessee transfer Olivier Nkamhoua in the transfer portal, and according to Joe Tipton of On3Sports, a decision is expected to come by Monday.

“Plans to make a decision by Sunday or Monday, but could be delayed,” Tipton said on Twitter.

Nkhamoua previously visited West Virginia and has also visited Kansas State and Michigan. Tipton also reports, Baylor is now in the mix for Nkamhoua as well as Memphis.

West Virginia is seeking a bench role player to fill in around the three or four spot in the rotation. Nkahmoua is listed at 6-foot-9, 236 pounds, and averaged 10.8 points per game, five rebounds per game, while shooting 51 percent from the field.

Nkamhoua recently took his name out of the NBA Draft, and will be retuning to college. The only question now is where will he end up, a decision which seems to be coming shortly.
