West Virginia baseball begins their Road to Omaha on Friday as they play in the Lexington Regional, hosted by Kentucky.
The Mountaineers are the two-seed in the region, and will be playing Indiana in game on on Friday. Kentucky plays Ball State on Friday afternoon, with the two winners advancing to the winners side of the double-elimination bracket.
The two winners from Friday will play on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. The two losers will play on Saturday at noon in an elimination game. On Sunday, the two teams remaining with one loss will play at noon, before the winner of that game plays the winner of Saturday’s winners bracket game at 6 p.m. If the team with one loss beats the winner, then there is a game seven on Monday with the time to be determined.
Television channels will be released later, and times are most likely subject to change.
