West Virginia baseball was named as the two-seed in the Lexington Regional for the NCAA Tournament.
The Mountaineers are set to face Indiana in the first round on Friday, with first pitch set for 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN+. The game will be played at Kentucky’s home ballpark — Kentucky Proud Park.
The regional is a double-elimination style tournament between the four teams in the region. Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, and Ball State are the four teams in the regional.
West Virginia was one of six Big 12 teams that made it into the field of 64 this year.
