WVU football gains commitment from 2024 three-star tight end

Tight end Jack Sammarco has committed to play for the Mountaineers, he announced on Thursday.

He announced the decision in a tweet saying, “Take me home! 110% committed!!!”

Sammarco is a three-star tight end listed at 6-foot-6, 242 pounds from Anderson High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sammarco received an offer from WVU in May from new tight ends coach Blaine Stewart.

Sammarco had offers from Bowling Green, Connecticut, Akron, Army, and UMass, among others. Sammarco is the third commitment in WVU’s 2024 class.
