Former WVU wide receiver Gary Jennings has signed with the Carolina Panthers.
Jennings, a standout wide receiver for the Mountaineers from 2015-2018, had a brief stint in the NFL before finding himself on the St. Louis Battlehawks of the XFL for this season.
In a season that saw him finish with 11 receptions for 149 yards and 3 touchdowns as well as winning the XFL’s Play of the Year award, he earned himself an invite to the Panthers rookie minicamp.
The Panthers officially announced the signing of Jennings Tuesday morning.
