Former West Virginia wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton went undrafted, but according to Max Olson of The Athletic, Ford-Wheaton will be signing with the New York Giants.
“We’re all good over here! It’s a marathon not a sprint! Excited for the next chapter let’s go,” Ford-Wheaton said in a tweet following the conclusion of the NFL Draft on Saturday evening.
Ford-Wheaton — who spent the last five seasons at WVU — tested well in the pre-draft process. Ford-Wheaton ran a 4.38-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.
Ford-Wheaton finished his career with 143 receptions for 1,867 yards, and 15 touchdowns. This past season in 2022, Ford-Wheaton had seven touchdowns and 642 receiving yards.
His 143 receptions rank 12th all-time in WVU history, while he played in 46 games and started 32 of them.
