West Virginia defensive end Aric Burton entered the transfer portal, he announced on Thursday.
“Thank you Mountaineer nation for the love and support during my time here. I also want to thank Coach Brown, Coach Lesley, Coach Mike and the rest of the coaching staff for giving me the opportunity and help to grow as an individual over the past 1.5 years,” he said.
Burton was a freshman this past season and redshirted. He saw game action in WVU’s win over Towson. Burton is 6-foot-5, 212 pounds, and is from Germany. He attended Clearwater International Academy in Florida prior to coming to WVU.
