West Virginia football gained the addition of Jaylen Ellis from Baylor, he announced on Twitter on Tuesday.
Ellis, a 6-foot-3, 184-pound wide receiver is from Round Rock, Texas, and has been with the Bears since 2019. Last season he had three catches for 154 yards and a touchdown.
He held offers from Auburn, Texas A&M, as well as Utah.
West Virginia has been committed to hitting the transfer portal this offseason and wide receiver is one of those positions. Ellis is experienced but lacks a lot of production during games.
Ellis had originally entered the transfer portal on Apr. 17, and just over a week later announced WVU as his new home.
