West Virginia reaches out to Colorado transfer WR

After playing in Colorado’s spring game on Saturday and catching three passes for 154 yards, Colorado wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig entered his name into the transfer portal just a day later on Sunday.

Lemonious-Craig is listed at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds and is originally from Inglewood, California. Last season he led Colorado with 23 receptions for 359 yards and three touchdowns.

On3Sports said there have been almost 20 schools to already contact him to play for them next season and West Virginia is on that list. Fellow Big 12 schools such as BYU and Cincinnati are on the list as well as notable schools such as Penn State and Auburn.

Lemonious-Craig was at Colorado for the past three seasons and was a three-star recruit coming out of high school in 2020.

The Mountaineers are still looking to add from the transfer portal and wide receiver is one of the areas the Mountaineers need to continue to add depth to before the fall.
