West Virginia freshman Josiah Davis has found a new home. Davis announced on his Instagram he will be transferring to Tennessee Tech.
Davis appeared in six games this season, scoring five points in a game against Penn. Davis was most visible on the sidelines, providing energy on the bench. Davis enrolled at WVU in August, and never found his way on the court behind point guards Kedrian Johnson and Joe Toussaint.
Tennessee Tech is in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) and is coached by John Pelphrey. Davis was one of two Mountaineers from this past year’s team to enter the transfer portal. Davis along with Jamel King both have found places to play next season and beyond.
Davis is originally from Ontario and attended Teays Valley Christian School prior to joining the Mountaineers.
