Montana State transfer RaeQuan Battle will be visiting Morgantown this weekend.
Jon Rothstein reported that Battle will visit the Mountaineers as they look to improve on an already deep transfer portal class.
Battle has four years of college experience between Washington and Montana State. This past season he played in 35 games, averaging 17.7 points per game, 2.9 rebounds per game, while shooting 35 percent from three and 47 percent from the field.
West Virginia’s current portal class consists of Jose Perez, Omar Silverio, Jesse Edwards, and Kerr Kriisa. Three starters from WVU’s season a year ago ran out of eligibility and the Mountaineers have been building their roster.
Battle is 6-foot-5, 185 pounds, and has averaged 13.1 points per game in his four years of college.
