West Virginia is looking to continue to add from the transfer portal, and Bob Huggins is hoping to do that through Jesse Edwards.
Joe Tipton of On3Sports reported Thursday that Edwards’ final three landing spots include Kansas, Gonzaga, and the Mountaineers. Edwards entered his name in the portal this week after playing at Syracuse this past season.
Edwards averaged 14.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game this season for the Orange. Edwards is 6-foot-11, and is scheduled to make a visit to Morgantown this weekend.
Edwards is ranked the third-best player in the transfer portal for college basketball this offseason by ESPN and would add to West Virginia’s strong transfer class which currently includes Kerr Kriisa, Jose Perez, and Omar Silverio.
