West Virginia guard Joe Toussaint is returning for his final year of eligibility. Toussaint confirmed this with Jon Rothestein on Friday.
Toussiant — who transferred from Iowa — had a career year with the Mountaineers this season. He averaged 9.4 points per game, shooting 33 percent from the field, and 37 percent from the field. Toussaint scored 15 or more points six times last season and was pivotal off the bench for West Virginia.
Toussaint joins fellow seniors Jose Perez, Omar Silverio, and Kerr Kriisa on WVU’s roster next season. Other seniors Jimmy Bell and Tre Mitchell have not yet made public decisions about returning to the Mountaineers next season.
