The transfer portal happenings are in full swing for West Virginia men’s basketball as they picked up the transfer commitment from Arizona guard Kerr Kriisa.
Kriisa helped lead Arizona to a two-seed in the NCAA Tournament this past season. Kriisa played in 35 games, averaging 9.9 points per game, 5.1 assists per game, and 2.4 rebounds per game.
Kriisa is originally from Estonia, and has spent the last three seasons with the Wildcats. He led the Pac-12 in assists this season, and shot 36 percent from the field, and 35 percent from three in his three seasons at Arizona.
Kriisa will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Krissa joins Jose Perez and Omar Silverio as three transfers gained so far by the Mountaineers. West Virginia is still waiting on decisions from Joe Toussaint, Tre Mitchell, and Jimmy Bell, who all have the option to return for an extra year of eligibility.
