West Virginia basketball has suffered their second portal casualty of the offseason, as freshman guard Josiah Davis has entered the transfer portal.

“I want to thank Mountaineer nation for bringing me in and making it feel like home,” Davis said. “I’ll love you forever guys.”
Davis appeared in six games this season, scoring five points in a game against Penn. Davis was most visible on the sidelines, providing energy on the bench.
Davis enrolled at WVU in August, and never found his way on the court behind point guards Kedrian Johnson and Joe Toussaint. Davis, listed at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, will now be searching for a new home.
