Navy linebacker transfer Tyler Cain has committed to play for the Mountaineers he announced on Twitter on Friday.
Cain accepted a preferred walk-on spot from the Mountaineers after transferring out of the service academy. Cain highly considered West Virginia during his recruitment process out of high school.
Cain is 6-foot-3, 230 pounds and will add more depth to this West Virginia roster. The Mountaineers begin spring practice in just under two weeks.
Cain is originally from Pennsylvania, attending Beaver Falls High School.
