After a career year, which included winning NFL Comeback Player of the Year, the Seattle Seahawks and quarterback Geno Smith agreed to a three-year, $105 million extension on Monday.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapport first reported the deal.
Smith had a 69.8 percent completion percentage which was best in the NFL, while tossing 30 TD’s, and throwing for 4,282 yards.
Smith took the Seahawks to the playoffs and was one of the top free agent quarterbacks this offseason. The Seahawks had wanted to resign Smith and they made that official on Monday.
