The Big 12 continues to flex their firepower as they have four teams ranked inside the top-11 of the Associated Press Top 25 Poll heading into the final week of the regular season.
Kansas ranks third, Baylor ranks seventh, Texas ranks ninth, and Kansas State ranks 11th in this week’s poll, while TCU ranked 22nd.
Iowa State who was ranked 23rd last week, dropped out of the top-25 after suffering two losses. They received 20 votes which is equivalent to 31st. WVU’s lone vote ranks them tied for 40th in the country.
The Big 12’s five ranked teams are the most in the country, followed by the Big East and SEC having four teams ranked. The Big Ten and and ACC each have three teams ranked, while the Pac-12 has two teams ranked out of the power six conferences.
