West Virginia still needs to secure at least four or five more wins to safely secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament. If they get there though, they could very well win at least a game or two, and the computer rankings rank West Virginia as one of the better teams in the country.
KenPom ranks West Virginia 14th in the country. The Mountaineers are the fourth-highest Big 12 team by KenPom. The NET Rankings are also kind to the Mountaineers following the win.
