Former Mountaineer and current Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla will be taking his talents to NBA’s All-Star Weekend.
Mazzulla was announced as the head coach of Team Giannis in NBA’s upcoming All-Star Game. Mazzulla and his staff got the nod as the Celtics have the best record in the eastern conference.
This is only the third time in 24 years that an All-Star Team will be led by a first-year head coach.
The game will be played on Feb. 19 and be televised on TNT at 8:30 p.m.
Mazzulla’s Celtics are currently 36-15.
