Monty Montgomery, who West Virginia had previously offered has confirmed his visit date to WVU among two other schools.
Montgomery is a transfer linebacker from Louisville, who announced he will officially be visiting WVU from Jan. 19-21. He is also visiting Ole Miss on Jan. 18 and Texas A&M on Jan. 22-23. The visit to the Mountaineers is the longest scheduled visit.
Montgomery has been at Louisville since 2019, playing in at least 10 games in three of the last four seasons. In his 35 career games played, Montgomery has 160 tackles, 23.5 TFL, 15 sacks and three interceptions. This past season was Montgomery’s most successful yet, as he had six sacks, and 70 total tackles.
