Quarterback Samaj Jones visited WVU over the weekend and his visit to the Mountaineers comes as he carries a lengthy line of friendships and teammates from high school to WVU.
Jones is a dual-threat quarterback from Philadelphia, who is a four-star prospect by ESPN. Jones attends St. Joseph’s Prep School; the same school West Virginia class of 2023 signees Josiah Trotter and James Heard attended. St. Joseph’s is also the same high school of West Virginia’s lone 2024 commitment Richard James.
Jones has also visited Penn State and has offers from Maryland, Cincinnati, and Boston College among other schools.
